As I am sitting here in an internet place in Amsterdam, I am already determined not to spend another Christmas away from friends and family! After 20 years with a company I am due to be home! I am so looking forward to my next Holiday season, hopefully Sam will be home with me. I am so excited about starting our own holiday traditions. I figure that we will wake up to a sweet Christmas tree with presents from Santa and then make our way over to Mom and Dads to have a big family Christmas. Sam will have his 5 year old cousin to play with and of course his other cousins ranging from 25 to 18. And never to forget his Big Guy and Gammie. What fun! I can't wait!
Mom sent me on my trip with a christmas present to open on Chrismas morning, I couldn't wait and I opened it last night, I cried, it was the sweetest gift I have ever gotten. It was a little silver plaque to put in the baby's room. It says something to the effect of blessing the child who lives in this room. I had to run down the hall to show one of my crew members, it means so much!
I just came from my favorite Pizza place, where everyone knows my name....I had a nice Pizza lunch and they bought me a lemon chello and a nice tiramesu. Not exactly turkey dinner but a close second best! Tonight its ribs with 6 of my crew members.
Wishing everyone a very happy holiday and I'll be home soon! Love, Lisa

Merry Christmas.
Although not as sentimental as spending time with family and friends, this Christmas sounds adventuresome.
Hope you are home soon.
