Today is another day.....I am feeling better about everything. What's 2 years right? Someone said to me...at least your biological clock isn't ticking...but in a way it is. I waitied way to long to start this process. I signed with CHI at 45 but I have been seriously thinking about adoption for years. It took me turing 45 to panic enough to do something about it! So I guess it's all good. I am young at heart and that is what counts! I'd rather sit at the kids table anytime!
It's weird, the last two trips I worked, IAH to AMS, I ran into people just coming from or going to Kazakhstan. Yesterday I took a man's very heavy jacket, to hang, and I asked him where he was going....he said Kazakhstan! I said look, I have the weather right here on my iphone and it's not that cold...he said honey, where I am going is 2,000 miles from Almaty and it is cold! So that's that.
I am waiting to run into a family coming back from their adoption journey, hope you didn't want to sleep on the flight home.....just kidding! For those of you traveling through Houston to Amsterdam, mention my name to the flight crew, maybe I'll be there to help out. Happy journeys!

Hey Lisa,
Great attitude. Like I said before, 48 is the new 28 right?
Getting to know you, I can tell that you are young at heart and you look young too so no worries. I'm glad to have a friend in the same boat as me. We will get there!
You are 45? You look WAY younger!!!
You have the coolest job! I guess you will be prepared for the long flight to Kaz. I am nervous & I do not like to fly. I can't believe you haven't come across any adoptive parents in flight. I keep running into adoptive parents in my daily life.
Marla

What's a couple of years?? In your son's eyes, you'll be just right!! Quaintance
