Parts is parts!
I have a cute story that happened yesterday. I took over custody of my neighbor's Guinea Pig about 2 weeks ago. He is doing great...eating like a king and who knew.....after I got over my initial fear, he likes to be held! Anyway, I stopped by my Mom and Dad's on the way home from my trip....being the eternal child in my mother's eyes....I was afraid to tell her that I had added yet another critter to my brood. However Phil needed lettuce and I didn't want to go to the grocery store. So I told her I have a guinea Pig. My Mom said....You know, I have guinea pig in me. I say What??!! Surely you misunderstood what I said. She went on to tell me that when she was born, her feet were very turned in. Over the years as a kid she had many surgeries and casts and braces. One of her doctors put in guinea pig tendons to lengthen her own tendons at her heels. This was in the 30's which must have been quite advanced at the time? Who knows. So I am thinking that I must have a little guinea pig DNA in me? Interesting.....Phil the guinea pig and I are going to have lots to talk about!
Looking for Sam
This is a blog of my quest to adopt a child from Kazakhstan. Enjoy!
