Chase's Graduation and Commissioning Celebration

My beautiful and only nephew Chase, who was on scholarship at TCU, for baseball and Air Force graduated this month and almost all the family went to Ft. Worth to celebrate.  He was also sworn in by my Dad and commissioned into the Air Force and is the 3rd generation of Military in my living family.  Dad was Air Force, my brother is a Colonel Texas Army National Guard, my niece Courtney has two years in the Air Force and now Chase.  Chase is going to be home for five months before he has to report to Florida but he has strict orders from me...that if Sam comes while he is home, he has to teach him how to play ball!  We missed Paige and Ashley and Ryan who couldn't be there.

I was just in San Antonio last month for my nephew's AF boot camp graduation. My parents were militare and my brother retired a few years back. Seeing a soldier in uniform truly makes me feel thankful for our country. Please tell you nephew and father "Thank you!".

Congrats to your Nephew--it is a great accomplishment to be commissioned in the Military. I remember going to my Brother's Commission Ceremony to the Navy in Pensacola. FL five years ago. He is the one I just visited in Virginia Beach for my vacation--he goes out on an Aircraft Carrier soon.
Tell your families Thanks--I am grateful to all our military.

Looking for Sam
