discouraged but not beaten
I have to say, on the adoption front....I am just a bit discouraged. I have now been at the MFA for 3 months. I seem to be about a month overdue to move to the MOE. It wouldn't be such a big deal but I see others moving at a more rapid pace. It seems to me......there is a slowdown of dossiers out of DC.....I should be moving that much faster. If I understand correctly, since there is a slowdown, there are more children then ever waiting for forever homes. I only want one child. I want my son Sam. He is there waiting....I just know it. Everything is lining up as it should.....except for this one thing...........................................................

Lisa,
I am getting a bit discouraged also. My dossier arrived at the MFA the same time as yours. Every day I pray that something positive may happen for any of us. Keep the faith.
Kind of blue......in PA.

Hi Lisa,
Sorry to hear your having a tough time waiting. I'm STILL waiting for my I-171H and am in the process of re-do a bunch of dossier documents. I feel like the first round was a big waste of time. It seems that, no matter what point your at, the waiting seems unbearable. Here's hope that we all get what we're waiting for SOON!

Hi, so sorry to hear that things are slow. Not sure I can say anything to make things better, but just wanted you to know that I'm sending you good wishes. Susan
Hey Lisa: Sorry to hear that you haven't heard of any progress with your dossier movement...waiting is definitely the hardest part! Seems as if there is frequently a slow down this time of year as government officials in Kaz take their vacations. Does your agency have any explanations? Hang in there!

I feel the same--Waiting is definitely the hardest part of this whole ordeal. We are so ready to be mothers!!!!
Keep the faith--it will happen1
I know exactly how you are feeling if that helps. Last spring my dossier got stuck at the MFA and I didn't get a status until late October that it had finally arrived at the MOE in September. You're almost there!
