I am on a trip and celebrating the 4th of July in London England. My friend Lou Ann mentioned just how ironic that was. I am celebrating in the country that we/America declared our independence from! The hotel that we stay in actually had a 4th of July BBQ and that's even more ironic. (free food at a hotel?!) So after a little BBQ and a few English Ciders, It's all good! Happy Independence Day!
To Lou Ann and Lexie who found each other in Aktau over a year ago, congratulations! This is the day that you were able to spring Lexie from the Baby House and I know that you will never forget it. I hope that in a year from now, Sam and I will be at the lake house celebrating the 4th with hot dogs, swimming, sparklers and family!

I couldn't stop thinking about next 4th of July with my boy. I hope he isn't afraid of noise because we are so close to the fireworks that sometimes they get loud!!!!

Thanks for thinking of us Lisa. I am so blessed to have God put Lexie in my arms a year ago and I am just sure you will be saying the same thing about Sam before you know it. I'm hoping you'll be enjoying Christmas with your little man! Keep the positive thoughts heading his way since he's already been born and is just waiting for you to come get him. It will happen -you simply have to believe!
