private.......?

I am thinking of going private....yet again....I am seeing a trend and I think that it might be best until I bring my child home.  I am hearing about Agencies that don't want their PAP's blogs public and I am not sure why.  I am hearing rumors that Kaz officials or Kaz coordinators may also be taking a look.  Another disturbing idea is that when you are assigned a region...that other agencies might try to beat you to the punch if they know a child is available!!

Hate not to get the wonderful feed back,so.......please let me know if you'd like an invite. Send me your email address to Lsbblues@aol.com.

Anyone know anything? Thanks!

I would love an invite to read your blog. Yes there are many reasons to make your blog private, and all the ones you listed are typically why most of us have private blogs.

I have been told all these reasons by adoptive parents who have returned from Kaz. I think it is better to be safe than sorry.

I received great news this week & am hoping in the next week or two that I will have travel dates.

Please send me an invite if you go private.

Hi Lisa,

We have been thinking the same thing... I figured I'd wait a little bit before we go private.

You will certainly be on the list of invitees :)

Please add us to your list -
Thanks Kari

Hi Lisa,

I am friends with Rose and she passed your blog on to me. I would love an invite to your blog. I think about you alot and hope and pray you find "your Sam" soon. I am a SAP to an adorable 20 month son Henry. He came home 10 months ago from Kaz. I still update my blog if you would like to take a peak.

I too would love to share your journey- and I too just posted on my blog about going private- for so many reasons big and small. So if you will allow, I'd like to be a reader & you can read mine too!

Hi Lisa,

Lexie and I of course want to follow your blog. I am so sad to hear that people don't feel comfortable with their blogs being public. I enjoyed hearing from friends as well as people I didn't know while I was in Kaz last year. I know the IA world has changed a lot in the last 12 months and I can't help but think that it's NOT for the better. More kids are waiting longer to come home with their families. And more families are having to find other avenues to bring children home. So how is that better? Now you Lisa, I am just sure will be on your way to Kaz sometime soon.

Lou Ann & Lexie (she's so brilliant that she can read at 28 months ;))

Looking for Sam

This is a blog of my quest to adopt a child from Kazakhstan. Enjoy!
