still waiting.......

Just thought that I'd share some pictures of my motley crew.......we are still waiting to hear anything! we of little patience........

On a sad note.....my rescued hermet crab, Hermes,  died today? I swear I checked him yesterday and he retracted from me, I thought.  Today he was in the same spot and he basically fell out of his shell.  Like maybe he'd been gone for awhile? I feel bad.  Silly huh?

Phil or Phillameana, the recused guinea pig is doing great.  He is finally coming out a bit more of his hovel.  It's funny.....now when I am feeding the other critters he starts to squeak and throws a fit until I feed him.  I can create monsters out of the best of pets!!

Hope everyone is doing well?  My September vacation came and went.....back to the grind.   I am flying back to Amsterdam this month, it's been nice, I missed it there.  I have decided that I really need to buy some warmer clothes..... I had one of those moments in AMS when I was out and about and it started to hail and I had to walk home in my cheap wet slipper shoes.........that I need some winter appropriate clothes!  We just don't wear them here much in Texas.  I can pretty much wear long shorts all year around.  And you never know.....if I get the good call.....maybe I'll be prepared for winter in Kazakhstan?
