being positive and proactive
Well as I have said before...my friend Susan says that if you want to go on a trip then start packing. So of course I have almost everything ready to be packed, in Sam's room but I also went ahead and started witht the innoculations. Yesterday I got Hep A and B, Chickenpox, and in a month I get another series of Hep A and B and Thypoid. I am thinking that I should have had alot of these earlier because of my job...who knows what I have been exposed to in some of the countries I fly to.

Now time to get the rest of the house ready! Plugs for the outlets, hooks on the cabinets, and seriously crawl around your house and anything you see at that level-take it down! Also think about locks for the fridge and stove. Never would have thought of those. So fun!
Glad to hear you are almost packed. Now have you weighed what you're thinking about taking? That's always a real eye opener. And the shots are a good thing too. I didn't get any before I left and I wonder what in the world I was thinking. Smart going Mom!
Lou Ann & Lexie too
PS - love the flying cat!
Good idea and you are right - it sets the universe in motion. Actually it seems you are waiting kinda late for shots. They take a little time to 'kick in.' I just bought a crib for "Little" - something I had been putting off and putting off. It is feeling a bit more 'real' now.
Still believe that this has gotta be just a matter of weeks... get those shots already!!!! : ) Love the pic in the bedroom...looks like someone else in also looking for Sam. Q
Good going on the shots--you are right with your job it is important.
Love the flying cat--the room is perfect for Sam not being there--sure hope it comes soon.
Yeah--weigh your suitcases like Lou Ann said--it is an eye opener. I couldn't think of anything to leave out so I just ended up paying the extra weight fees. Shouldn't have to on the way home because I will have two tickets then.
I think things will happen soon for you.
I know that you believe in signs so I will tell you a cool one I had--way back when I was still with Kaz I bought a small pink stuffed lion for my future daughter because I loved it and I still do--I finally was able to give it to her and I found out the the Lion is the symbol of Krasnoyarsk--it is on all their souveniers and there are big lion statues around the city--how cool is that. I had a sign a long time ago that I didn't even realize.
It would be wonderful to travel at the same time, that would be an excellent adventure.
But I will be following your blog anyway to cheer you on every step of the way. I hope you hear soon. LOI's come to us Mommies to be,
Michele
