more paperwork in....

It's been a good week. I received both my USCIS I-171H approval plus I also received my Home Study Report update with a notary that doesn't expire until 2013.  That gives me a little more time then the original June 2009! Today I had a check up with my doctor just to make sure I don't have leprosy or gonorrhea untreated....I think I am ok on both!  I am really starting to get excited again! I am hoping to submit  in a couple of weeks.  I am just waiting on a few papers from my Home Study agency that I didn't know that they didn't know I needed! Short a little money from the first go around but I am still pluggin'! Gotta hurry up and go get my Sam or Samantha!

Here's hoping that, by next Mother's Day, your little Kaz baby is home with you, safe and sound!

AWESOME!!!! It seems like you've made more progress in the past month or so than all of the previous months combined. How exciting!! It's wonderful to feel the enthusiasm. Sending you best wishes! Susan

Hi Lisa,
Great news. It is also exciting to see Sam or Samantha on your blog. So awesome that you are open to being surprised with gender-that is an issue I still struggle with.
So glad to hear that your can submit soon--how long are they predicting for a wait once you submit? It seems like we are back where we were almost 2 years ago--both starting out and maybe having the possibility of traveling around the same time. Wouldn't that be cool? Mary

I am so happy you are one step closer to your child. Very excited to see that you are now looking for a boy or girl, that is really exciting. I am hoping that you get your dossier submitted soon. Lets hope the time really does fly by this time.

Hey Lisa! So glad to hear that things are moving along, it feels good to get one more thing checked off the list bringing you one step closer to your little Sam. Things are in the holding pattern for us. We submitted out paperwork and are now just waiting for them to give the go ahead to put us in their system so we can wait to be picked. We are hoping that we get picked quickly! Anyway, good luck and keep believing!
